Chapter 1961
The barrier in front of Affia is shattering, like a massive pane of glass collapsing with a thunderous crash—
In that instant, Fang Hong seized the opportunity, propelling himself and Grand Princess's Earth Shaker forward with his Silver Flame Knight, their speed abruptly multiplied severalfold, as they surged into the barrier.
But Dika had clearly sensed the danger.
Blood Servants, their bodies covered in pitch-black tendrils, surged out from the snowstorm, charging towards them. Under Fang Hong's control, the Earth Shaker protected the Princess with one hand while the other formed a fist to send the Blood Servants flying with each punch.
Fang Hong soon realized these creatures were exceptionally troublesome. Ye Hua wasn't exaggerating in the slightest; he could knock them down but killing them was exceedingly difficult, and the more he fought, the more they multiplied.
One Blood Servant broke through the mist created by the snowstorm, ramming from the side. Although the Silver Flame Knight raised its Great Shield, it was still shoved aside with a booming step, nearly causing Fang Hong to be thrown from its palm.
He gripped onto the Silver Flame Knight's finger, muttering a complaint. Though he commanded it to use the Great Shield to toss the creature away, the monsters emerged from the snow endlessly—how could they possibly fend them all off?
They still needed another solution.
Fang Hong glanced upward, seeing Dragon Queen Margaret swooping through the harsh weather, but she couldn't be counted on for now. His gaze pierced through the snowstorm, focusing on the towering Earth Shaker on the other side.
He raised his hand—
The Earth Shaker, with one hand protecting the Grand Princess, suddenly straightened up. Rupert felt a sudden lurch beneath her feet, quickly clutching the Earth Shaker's wrist as she looked up, only to see the bright light emanating from the eyes of this towering Construct.
Its other hand was raised high before it tilted forward, slamming its palm into the ground. From the point of contact at its palm, a shockwave surged outward. But this move had been used before; the Earthquake Realm had little effect on the Blood Servants.
The tentacled monsters that emerged from the snowstorm moved with extreme agility, running as effortlessly across the undulating ground as if it were flat.
However, experience suggests that this time might not work; the next moment, the waves were growing higher and higher, until they formed a tsunami, burying everything beneath mud and debris from the plaza.
Only then did Fang Hong withdraw his hand, almost collapsing from exhaustion. Though Miss Tata could provide ample calculative power, he still had to complete each phase of Creatogenesis Array himself, especially with such large-scale applications, which were utterly draining.
He vowed this would be the last time he did something like this.
Grand Princess Rupert glanced over with a slightly worried look, standing slightly tilted in the Earth Shaker's palm with one hand clutching its arm, her gaze seemingly asking, "Mr. Ade, can you still keep going?"
Fang Hong simply nodded, exhaled softly, and flicked his left hand lightly.
Under his command, the Earth Shaker stood upright and continued upwards—the massive wave of dirt had formed a hill, beyond which lay the final destination of the Holy Sanctuary cluster—the main temple.
The Silver Flame Knight also retracted its Giant Shield and continued moving forward step by step, with both Constructs accelerating until they were nearly sprinting. Fang Hong knew there must be countless Blood Servants waiting for them beyond the hill, prompting him to order the Silver Flame Knight to discard the Great Shield, draw its sword, and hold it in hand.
True to form, as soon as they reached the hilltop, a Blood Servant on each side broke through the wind and snow, waving its pitch-black tendrils at them. But amidst the snowstorm, a flash of silver light appeared, a silver bolt from the Dragon Knight's side struck the Blood Servant's chest, sending it tumbling back, disappearing into the blizzard.
After the first silver light, a second silver light followed suit, taking away the second Blood Servant in the same manner. Fang Hong couldn't help but glance back, but he could no longer see Ye Hua on the other side of the plaza, only seeing silver lights emerging from the darkness.
The sky had somehow fully darkened, with only the howling cold wind and swirling snow remaining, ice-cold frost and icicles, but whenever a Blood Servant appeared, there was inevitably a corresponding silver light.
Feather Arrows piercing the air accurately struck the Blood Servants' chests or throats, heads, sending them tumbling down the hill with tremendous force, vanishing from sight. Only then did Fang Hong seem to understand what the archer behind the warrior meant.
"Mr. Knight, look ahead."
Miss Tata's voice came from the Mind World.
But Fang Hong could not see anything in the direction she pointed; there were just two interlacing shadows in the vague blur, followed by Margaret's howl as she suddenly rolled out of the snowstorm from there.
The Dragon Queen twisted halfway through the air, flapping her massive metallic wings, extending a Construct talon to try and seize the hill's soil. But as the talon pierced the ground, leaving deep furrows under massive inertia, it still couldn't halt its course. With a booming crash, she clawed at empty air, plunging down the hill with dirt and rubble in tow.
Fang Hong watched the scene, then glanced back, realizing a massive shadow was rising within the darkness.
Behind the snowstorm, thunderous sounds emanated as the main hall within the Holy Sanctuary cluster collapsed with a resounding crash. The Holy White dome crumbled amidst snow, scattering a cloud of dust; the majestic white marble pillars fragmented into several pieces, tumbling down.
