Chapter 2013 - 12: The Great Prophet Ade

When Bozuo saw Fang Hong, he couldn't help but be slightly surprised; he expected the captain to be a young man, but not this young.

Looking at him, he seemed to be not even twenty years old, whereas Bozuo hadn't yet become a Bosun at that age.

"Captain," after his initial surprise, he stepped forward to introduce himself, "as sailors say, we've already met; the Swordfish is my ship, and this here is my first mate." He then introduced the Orlenze beside him.

Fang Hong understood what he was saying:

Meeting a ship is like meeting its person, Bakins had also explained the maritime etiquette to him.

He had also learned the name beforehand from Tianlan, so he took off his hat and responded, "Mr. Bozuo, did the port send you to us for some matter? If it's about that previous incident, we don't plan to pursue it further."

Though given the situation at the time, it would be reasonable for them to seek compensation. However, the local Port Authority, with a mindset of avoiding extra trouble, might not support them, especially considering that on the Sky Sea, it's a place where power speaks, and the port is not an arbitration institution.

But the port not being an arbitration institution doesn't mean all grievances are written off.

So Fang Hong continued in a nautical manner, "But please convey to those people, the next time they encounter us at sea, to be a little more cautious."

Bozuo chuckled silently.

At the moment, this small ship was obviously much smaller than the three-masted schooner from earlier; if they were to meet on the Sky Sea, the smaller ship would probably have to steer clear.

But he also understood this was just talk; on the Sky Sea, no one wants to lose face, especially young people.

He actually admired such spirit; sailors revere courage, not only the God of Wanderers but also Marlan's valor.

Of course, this was also the influence of preconceived notions; if the roles were reversed, with those people saying these words to this young man, he would most likely think they were boasting unsavorily.

Bozuo shook his head, "You're mistaken, Captain Ade, I'm not here to mediate. I've sailed for over thirty years and have rarely seen such impressive ship handling as earlier. I just wanted to come aboard and meet everyone."

Fang Hong was slightly taken aback by this, not expecting that was the reason for his visit.

But that was not any skill; it was merely the natural performance of a Magic Guided airship transformed by the Dragon Knights.

But this was one of the Seven Seas Travel Group's secrets, which naturally wouldn't be revealed easily. Although Bozuo's enthusiasm was quite flattering, they could only let him be mistaken.

Fang Hong gave vague responses and managed to obscure the truth.

Fortunately, Bozuo didn't ask him to demonstrate, or it would have been exposed immediately.

During their conversation, as Bozuo learned that most of them, especially Fang Hong, were Invokers, he couldn't help but be more surprised.

It's not that Invoker captains don't exist, but they often don't communicate well with the locals.

But Fang Hong's sea etiquette was taught hand-in-hand by Hilveld and Bakins; the Lady Noble taught the high society part, while the old sailor taught the sailor's part.

His previous words were like those from someone truly eking out a living on the Sky Sea—claiming to be sailors, people of the sea—that even Bozuo couldn't immediately discern his true identity.

After hearing Fang Hong's self-introduction, he seemed a bit surprised and said, "Ade, as long as you don't say you are the Holy Chosen, I dare assure you, not a single person in this port would recognize your identity."

To prove the credibility of this statement, even the Orlenze beside him nodded in agreement.

But seeing their astonished expressions, Fang Hong was somewhat unconcerned. He learned this Knowledge from Bakins and Hilveld out of interest in Sky Sea traditions, not because these things were truly useful.

Even if no one in this port recognized him as an Invoker, what would it matter?

This was nothing to be amazed about.

By this time, they had completed port entry procedures.

In a remote region like Nogness, port entry inspections weren't particularly strict, only slightly better than the free zones like Saint Hugon Corner.

But upon receiving the port entry permit, Fang Hong exchanged a look with Miss Atira and Hilveld—their wanted notices apparently hadn't reached this place yet.

Whether it was because the Colin People hadn't issued an order yet, or because Nogness was just too remote, they couldn't say.

Nonetheless, with no one causing them trouble, it was certainly a relief, as they had anticipated the biggest problem of this materials acquisition journey would be their identities.

But at the moment, that problem was at least half-diminished.

Bozuo, unaware of their internal thoughts, only saw them acquire the port entry permit, and only then did he speak, "Everyone, there's something I need to tell you."

Fang Hong noted his serious demeanor and paused, "What's the matter, Mr. Bozuo, please go ahead."

"It's about the people on that previous ship," Bozuo lifted his head and glanced outside, "let's discuss it on the way. From here into town, you'll need to take the second Magic Guided lift down; newcomers typically get lost. I'll guide you there."

Fang Hong, not fully understanding, nodded nonetheless and thanked him.
