Chapter 2014 - 12: The Great Prophet Ade (Part 2)

As the group passed by the southern side of Tarn, they saw the massive scar known as Osiris Trace, where charred trunks had, after many years, begun to revive, reportedly with the help of summoned Elves, causing the burnt branches to sprout anew.

But it would still take many years to fully restore, as it gradually shrinks and eventually becomes a part of history.

"The Orlenze people never forgot that war," Captain Bozuo remarked as he looked at the charred trunks, "And regarding that Sky Island you mentioned, many are curious about it since it was the trigger of that great battle, but no one has seen the island for many years now, it may have truly sunk beneath the Cloud Sea."

"Do you know what was discovered on that island, Mr. Bozuo?" asked Fang Hong.

Their visit to this place was partly for material acquisition and resupply, but more importantly, to gather clues about the past.

Though they had seen the Star, the Morning Dawn Star matters were not mentioned, leaving Fang Hong somewhat curious about the name.

Bozuo shook his head, "The locals know very little about the island's matters, and few actually ventured onto it."

This matched the rumors.

Fang Hong asked again: "What about who discovered it?"

"The Morning Dawn Star, I think it was called that name."

But when asked about the Morning Dawn Star, even the counterpart knew little, expected in a way, but still a bit disappointing to everyone.

Fang Hong then proceeded to ask about a previous matter: "Mr. Bozuo, you mentioned you had something to tell us earlier?"

Bozuo nodded. "Those people on the ship are from the Hailin Commerce Guild, although I'm unsure why they haven't troubled you, they are known for being arrogant. Once you enter the city, you might want to be cautious."

After hearing from the Orlenze subordinate about the sequence of events that occurred, Fang Hong realized that the old captain secretly helped them earlier. Not only did he allow them to dock first, but he also arranged for the two ships to be anchored far apart.

Despite whether it would be needed, Fang Hong appreciated the kind gesture and hastily expressed gratitude to the other party.

Bozuo waved his hand, saying it was no big deal.

But the mention of the name of that commerce guild caught Fang Hong's attention, prompting him to ask: "...the name of this commerce guild?"

Bozuo nodded lightly, "They hail from the Hailin Crown, it's the commerce guild of the Colin Royal Family."

Fang Hong was surprised, "But I remember the Colin Royal Family had another commerce guild."

"This is newly established, Brother Ade." The Miss Natural Historian, who had been trailing behind, suddenly spoke, "I asked Sister Yugudola, and she told me that members of the Descendants of Flor were involved."

Them again, Fang Hong raised an eyebrow wondering if he had bad luck with the Descendants of Flor.

He asked: "Is that allowed?"

"If it's purely a commercial venture, naturally it is allowed, the military wouldn't interfere," answered Tang Xin this time.

She merely snorted lightly, evidently unimpressed with the Guild Alliance that had once quarreled with her cousin, "But, I don't believe these people will behave."

Fang Hong didn't believe it either.

Bozuo then added, "Seems like you know about them as well, but considering you are Chosen, it's not surprising. The Royal Household wouldn't come to such a remote place, and those people with the Royal Household's permit for the past months ensured no one would dare provoke them here."

Fang Hong realized that an Invoker wouldn't care about the Royal Household, but what they couldn't afford to offend was the Descendants of Flor, with Colin Royal Family and the Descendants of Flor combined, they were indeed untouchable here.

No wonder they dared to dock their ships sideways at the port, those bastards.

Though it seemed Fang Hong misunderstood this time, Bozuo shook his head and added: "They actually wouldn't do such a thing, just today was out of the ordinary, I guess they may have encountered some issue."

Fang Hong recalled their hurried departure.

Indeed, in theory, the Descendants of Flor wouldn't swallow such humiliation easily.

He suddenly agreed with Bozuo's perspective, it appeared the Descendants of Flor truly encountered something.

Hopefully, it was a trouble, a big trouble Fang Hong couldn't help but mean-spiritedly thought.

However, the Descendants of Flor collaborating with the Royal Household arrived at Nogness months ago, yet not a whisper from the community.

Clearly, there's something brewing with them.

Fang Hong thought if a chance to mess with them arose, it would be ideal.

Of course, it was merely a thought.

Right now both parties were parallel lines here, and if possible, they should avoid inviting trouble, given the Seven Seas Travel Group's current peculiar status.

At this point, Bozuo had already guided them to Elevator No. 3, Tarn had eleven elevators in total, seven for cargo and four for passengers.

From here, they could see the giant platform laden with goods on Elevator No. 5, slowly descending along Tarn's massive trunk.

Below lay Orlenze City.

Bozuo informed them that if they brought goods up, they could use the Elevator No. 5 passage.

The old captain had matters to tend to, naturally unable to escort them into the city.

After both sides bid farewell, the counterpart took the Orlenze subordinate and left first.

"Captain Bozuo is really a good person." Tianlan remarked.

Pasha beside also signaled agreement.

This time, as they disembarked, no one was left to guard the ship, only Miss Tata was left behind.
